Jill Kennedy
Jill Kennedy brings a proven history of results with successful legal and strategic solutions to sustain corporate operations, policies and programs to drive best practices and experience as a public lawyer with city, county, state and federal agencies. Her varied private practice represents individuals, businesses, nonprofits and health care organizations.
Through a practical and responsive approach, combined with her legal knowledge and years of experience, Jill assists her clients to advance their business goals, including small and large organizations, start-up businesses and individual entrepreneurs, who rely on her as respected business lawyer and adviser.
Jill began her professional career in Washington, D.C., working with the Urban Institute, National Journal, and National League of Cities. She was named Distinguished Public Lawyer of the year by the State Bar of Arizona, and has been recognized as Civil Attorney of the Year by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She received numerous commendations, special recognitions and awards during her tenure as Town Attorney for Paradise Valley, Arizona, and Assistant City Attorney for the cities of Tempe, Arizona, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A graduate of George Washington University Law School, she received her undergraduate degree from American University in Washington D.C., and her Master’s Degree in Information and Library Sciences from the University of Maryland. She is licensed in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and District of Columbia.
Her current practice with the firm includes services for small and medium size businesses, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, private and public schools, health care providers and a variety of healthcare, employment, real estate, probate and trust matters for individual clients.
